The concept for Visionz of Love was inspired in 2005 during a conference, where the keynote speaker discussed the themes of passion and purpose. The organization’s founder expressed, “I have always been driven by a desire to help others, believing my purpose is to serve with a heart aligned with God’s.”
In 2019, Visionz of Love officially became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to develop engaging programs aimed at mentoring, educating, nurturing, and empowering at-risk youth in underprivileged communities. We are dedicated to investing time in creating opportunities that promote holistic health for our young people. We believe that our youth need programs that guide, empower, and inspire them to uncover their own potential.
Visionz of Love also plans to establish an Outreach Community, offering a safe space for youth and essential resources for the surrounding area. In the interim, we are committed to serving our youth and the local community with acts of love.
SERVING OUR COMMUNITY
– Delivered welcome home backpacks to individuals re-entering from Alvis House.
– Hosted a Christmas Eve fellowship dinner for Huckleberry House.
– Operated a clothing pantry.
– Distributed 100 book bags at the Back to School Summit.
– Volunteered at Howard Community Center.
– Provided mentorship programs.
– Organized a giveaway of 100 holiday food boxes.
– Conducted community hot meal distribution events.
